R21 submitted

I have a special feeling for R21. When I changed my research focus from material science to neuroscience, the project I was recruited for was an R21 project. 1st NIH project my boss got at chemistry dept was also an R21 project. Since my research focus is developing methodology or technology for neuroscience research, R21 is best suited. However, since it goes through the same scrutiny in the same study session as R01, the success rate is actually poor. :<
