EEG analysis

I have not had a chance to see Pinnacle's seizure detection analysis package until yesterday when one of researchers at Penn contacted me. Considering convenience of video reviewing process, Pinnacle's package is nice, and can do many basic analysis such as power calculation at different bands, seizure detection via power and/or linelength, and output to spreadsheet for further analysis.

I am currently using custom-written Matlab code for seizure detection and the "feature" that works best for me is a modified linelength developed by Jeff several years ago. This is much better than simple linelength for seizure detection without false positive, at least for our dataset.

However, because of necessity of Video morning for scoring seizures, I recommended to stick with Pinnacle's package, but further analyzing spreadsheet generated by the system.

What do you use to analyze data obtained by Pinnacle's system?
