Old Scope Crashed

An old Prairie Technologies' two-photon microscope found dead in summer. I am guessing it started as a PC's power supply failure but spread to the mother board and DAQ board death - I used another PC to test the DAQ board and was not recognized, while another DAQ board with the same type worked normally.

Later on, I was able to install and activate Windows XP on another PC, installed all DAQ boards / NI drivers, and installed Prairie software, and able to run the two-photon scope again! It is not easy to maintain an old scope, but I integrated GaAsP PMT and FLIM on it, and recently modified to do in vivo imaging.
